About Morrisville, PA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The borough of Morrisville, population approximately 8,500, is located at the falls on the Delaware River directly across from Trenton, New Jersey.  Partitioned as a borough in 1804, Morrisville was originally a village located within the Falls Township.  The town is named after Robert Morris, who was an American Revolution financier and Superintendent of Finance under George Washington during the Revolutionary War.  Morrisville enjoys a seasonal climate with moderately hot summers and cold winters.  Snowfall is typical during the months of February and March.

The area in and around Morrisville is rich in history from the Revolutionary War era.  Summerseat was a private estate that served as headquarters for General George Washington and his army during the months leading up to the historic Battle of Trenton.  It is a Georgian-style mansion typical of architecture seen in the mid 1700s.  It was once owned by Robert Morris and George Clymer, who were both signers of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.  Pennsbury Manor was the home of William Penn who was the founder and first governor of Pennsylvania.  The manor was rebuilt in 1968 and is currently managed by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.

For outdoor activities and entertainment, be sure and visit Williamson Park located in the heart of Morrisville between the historic Delaware Canal and the Delaware River.  The park features a kid’s playground, picnic areas, community swimming pool, baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and plenty of wide-open spaces.  It is a great place to spend the day with family or friends!

Morrisville is also home to the Actors’ Net of Bucks County.  They are a non-profit regional theater company housed in the Heritage Center of Morrisville that strives to present theatrical productions that celebrate the history of the local region.
